As a young designer in my early 20s I worked for a custom design house. We offered custom draperies, bedding, slipcovers, upholstery, pillows etc. If you wanted custom we were the place to go.

Accessories are the finishing touches to your home, like a necklace and earrings to complete your outfit. They should be selected thoughtfully knowing where you will use them when you purchase them.

Remember the skit “Coffee Talk,” with Linda Richman from Saturday Night Live? She was a hoot! Anyway this is my version of “Coffee Talk.”

As a professional Interior Designer I can speak to the topic of “Why You Should Downsize 15% of Your Belongings.”  In reality we only use or wear approximately 25% of our items 80% of the time.  As I’ve been telling my clients for many years, “less is more.”
